Purple Zun is the latest one-off Pagani Zonda
The Pagani Zonda is celebrating another day. The Italian supercar has been around since 1999, but these bespoke models continue to renew their longevity.
It is called the Zonda Zun and was first unveiled by Pagani last June. The owner recently took delivery of the car and was seen driving around London.
The Zonda Zun features a striking purple color and numerous unique exterior features. The list includes a custom hood and new carbon fiber air extractors.
As if the Zonda couldn't look any wilder, Pagani has further tweaked the sides, rear, and roof. New air intakes are placed in front of the rear wheel arches, and the roof scoop is attached to a carbon fiber fin from which flows into the rear wing. A closer look reveals a secondary rear wing, painted purple to match the car.
Unfortunately, Pagani has not released specs for this car. Like most of the latest one-off builds, it is likely to be tuned to 760RS specifications. This means that it will be powered by a Mercedes-AMG 7.3-liter V-12 engine tuned to deliver a maximum output of 760 hp.
Interestingly, the creation of a new Zonda may not actually cease to exist. Pagani said last May that despite the end of production of both cars, they will technically live on forever. This is because the company plans to continue producing these one-off models, presumably using only the chassis of existing cars.
