Rolls-Royce is developing the Dawn fast car.
Rolls-Royce has unveiled its first special edition for 2020.
It will be based on the Dawn convertible, which will be converted into a speedster for the new series.
Rolls-Royce calls it the Dawn Silver Bullet Collection, of which only 50 will be sold worldwide.
Rolls-Royce will add an aerodynamically shaped lid with a pair of hoods where the rear seats would normally be located, which should give the car a real sense of speed, at least visually.
Naturally, given the name of the series, the silver color will be an important design theme. It starts with the exterior paintwork, which Rolls-Royce says is exclusive to this model. The titanium trim with "Silver Bullet" engraving will be located between the two aero hoods.
Inside, the car features open-cell carbon fiber elements, quilted transmission tunnels, contrast stitching and special badging.
The powertrain remains the same and does not require any special modifications. The 6.6-liter twin-turbo V12 fitted to all Dornes has a modest output of 563 hp. This is enough to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 4.9 seconds, which is certainly enough for the next high-speed Dawn.
In addition to introducing the Dawn Silver Bullet collection, Rolls-Royce plans to unveil an updated Ghost in 2020.
