Spy shots and videos of the 2021 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet.
Porsche has been spotted testing a prototype of the upcoming 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet.
The prototype may look like a standard 911 992 generation Carrera Cabriolet, but the center locking wheels and larger brake rotors confirm that this is a stiffer model.
The Porsche Carrera GTS is aimed at buyers who want something sportier than the regular Carrera or Carrera S, but aren't yet ready for a hardcore GT3 or Turbo.
The current model has 450 horsepower and accelerates to 60 mph in about 3.5 seconds. The new model will have slightly more power and will be equipped with the new eight-speed dual-clutch transmission that appeared on the 992-generation 911.
Again, several models will likely be available for Carrera GTS buyers. In addition to the coupe and convertible, the Carrera 4 GTS and Targa 4 GTS should appear.
The Carrera GTS coupe and convertible should appear in 2020 as 2021 models, with the rest of the Carrera GTS models a year later. New Targa, GT3 and GT3 Touring models are also in the planning stages. The new Turbo was unveiled in March, and in the top-of-the-line Turbo S configuration.
