US EV startup Rivian has introduced major updates to its debut R1S SUV and r1T pickup trucks and is already testing them. Electric SUVs and pickup trucks may look the same on the outside, but major changes have been made under sheet metal, including the addition of a new 1,025 hp quad motor powertrain.
The FIA, the governing body of Motorsport, this week previewed the design of the next-generation F1 car, scheduled for 2026. Due to the new design, the cars will become smaller and more agile, and they will also have a new power unit that has increased electrification.

The tradition of Mopar offering a factory limited edition packed with custom features continued this week with the mopar'24Jeep Gladiator's reveal. Mopar plans to use the already equipped Gladiator Rubicon as the basis for the vehicle and provide only 250 units to the U.S. market.
And finally, BMW's 1 Series hatchbacks sold abroad have been updated. The car will not make it to the US, but any changes made to it should work with an updated version of the relevant 2 Series Grand Coupe. The launch of the updated 1 series also marked the arrival of a new naming strategy to BMW.
