Lamborghini adds Sonas Faber Audio System to Revuelto

Powered by the latest V-12 engine, the Lamborghini Revuelto is arguably one of the best-sounding cars on the planet, but sometimes drivers want to listen to their favorite songs instead.1Lamborghini wants to make this experience equally memorable.

That's why the automaker has partnered with Sonus Faber, one of the best audio companies in the world, for Revuelto's audio systems.1

From May, Revuelto can be ordered with the Sonus Faber audio system developed in partnership with Lamborghini specifically for the V-12 plug-in hybrid supercar.

Like Lamborghini, Sonus Faber is from Italy, the result of one person's passion for excellence in the field he chose, in this case audio systems.

The system developed for Revuelto features a 750 watt amplifier and 7 speakers, including a center channel speaker mounted on top of the dash. According to Lamborghini, the conical shape in the center of the speaker enhances the output sound, providing powerful, natural audio and bandwidth in the range of 100-20,000 hz. An additional tweeter can handle up to 30,000Hz, which is beyond the limits of perception for most people.

Revuelto, which debuted in early 2023 and may look similar to the aventador's predecessor, represents a radical redesign that, in addition to electrification, includes a new carbon fiber tab, a new 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, and a newly developed V-12. Lamborghini's plant in Sant'Agata Bolognese, Italy, also had to be upgraded to accommodate the production of the car.

The powertrain consists of a 6.5-liter V-12 and 3 electric motors. 2 of the electric motors are located on the front axle and work independently, and the 3rd is integrated with the transmission attached to the rear. Lamborghini cites a performance number of 0〜62mph in 2.5 seconds and a top speed of 218mph. A battery of 3.8kwh also means a small electrical range is possible. A similar setup is expected to be installed on Huracán's plug-in hybrid successor later this year, perhaps with a twin-turbocharged v-8 instead of the v-12.
