2024 Dodge Charger, 2025 Kia Tasman: Top Photos of the Week

Dodge this week announced an electric vehicle to replace both the Challenger and Charger muscle cars as the 2024 Charger Daytona. Dodge plans to offer a Charger Six Pack model with a Hurricane inline six-cylinder in 2025.

Hyundai's Ioniq 5 has been on sale for several years and will soon receive an update. The updated version of the electric compact crossover debuted in Korea this week, and a U.S.-spec model should be unveiled in the not-too-distant future.

Rivian unveiled its highly anticipated R2 crossover this week. However, the EV company also surprised us by revealing a smaller R3 hatchback. Details are scarce, but the R3 is expected to go into production later this decade and will include a high-performance R3X variant.

Kia was spotted testing a midsize pickup truck, expected to be called the Tasman. This pickup will likely not be sold in the U.S., as Kia is believed to be planning an electric pickup for the U.S. market.

JLR was also spotted testing a prototype electric SUV that is expected to join the Range Rover family. This mystery vehicle is not the electric Range Rover expected later this year, but a lower, sleeker version that could replace the Range Rover Velar.

Also spotted was a new V-12 Grand Tourer set to replace the DBS by Aston Martin. This new car will have a dramatically different design than the DBS and may be produced under the vaunted Vanquish name.

Aston Martin also revealed the Vantage, which will be the official safety car for the 2024 Formula 1 World Championship. The car will take to the track alongside its AMR24 sibling at each round of the 2024 season, starting with this weekend's Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.

And finally, Karma Automotive, which just last year unveiled an electric sports car, followed it up this week with an electric luxury sedan. The sedan is called the Gyesera and promises 590 horsepower and a range of over 250 miles.
