Toyota, Lexus to introduce Tesla NACS connector from 2025
Owners of Toyota and Lexus electric vehicles will soon have access to more than 12,000 Tesla supercharged DC fast chargers located throughout North America.
Toyota on Thursday not only gained access to a network of North American charging stations, but EV's own joint charging contract, known as NACS (North American Charging Standard), also applies to Lexus.
Some Toyota and Lexus electric vehicles sold in the United States will have built-in NACS connectors starting in 2025. Among them is Toyota's three-row electric SUV, which will be built in Kentucky and will produce the Lexus Twin.
