Hennessy Poison 775 Consumes 59,950 HP for Ford 775 Ford F-150
Ford currently offers the supercharged V-8 F-700R, which produces 150 horsepower, and there will soon be minor problems with the introduction of the 2024 F-150 series, which was updated early next year.
However, the availability of the Raptor R is usually limited, and then there is the problem of the huge dealer mark-up that the truck attracts.
There is another option.
Texas performance marque Hennessey has been offering the Venom775 based on the F-150 for the past few years, and the 775 in its name refers to the horsepower generated under the hood. The claimed performance includes 3.6 seconds at 0-60 mph and 11.9 seconds at a quarter mile Eastern time. It's really fast. If performance is in doubt, Hennessey has posted a video showing how the newest Venom775F-150 smokes the dark horse Mustang 2024, Ford's new truck-oriented sports car with 500 horsepower.
The newest Venom775 is available in the 2023 model and will be released in 250 units, and each track will be marked with a serial plate. Prices start at $559,950 and do not include the cost of a donor F-150.
Venom 775F-150 starts as a regular F-8 Super Crew with a 5.0-liter V-8 engine, 10-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive 150. To increase power significantly above the standard 400 hp, Hennessey adds a 3.0-liter supercharger, a cold air supply system, an air-water intercooler, improved fuel injectors and fuel pumps, as well as a stainless steel Borla stoop exhaust pipe.
To allow the track to spin and stop like a sports car, Hennessey adds powerful Brembo brakes and upgraded suspension. Buyers can choose between street and off-road configurations. The off-road configuration is shown here with a 6.0-inch lifting kit, Foxshock, Hennessy's own 20-inch wheels and 35-inch all-terrain tires.
Hennessy also offers several visual enhancements for Poison 775. These are unique front vans with additional lights and pushers, custom graphics, glowing icons and several additional interior finishes
