Jeep Wrangler Releases "Jurassic Park" Release Commemorative Graphic Pack
It has been 30 years since the movie "Jurassic Park" was released and revolutionized the aesthetic of dinosaur movies.
To commemorate this milestone, Jeep has decided to offer a Jurassic Park-inspired graphics pack. This will allow current Wrangler owners to transform their off-roader into something resembling the 1992 Wrangler Sahara that appeared in the film. The graphics pack will also be available for the Gladiator, Jeep said.
The packs are available from the website www.JeepGraphicStudio.com,, but only for North American customers. They are also limited to 100 units, each with a unique number.
Two versions are available: the first is $550 and includes the famous Jurassic Park logo on the doors, hood and fender graphics, swing gate handle graphics (Wrangler only), and shifter inserts. The second pack is $650 and includes all items in the first pack plus a second shifter insert for the transfer case.
Fans who missed out need not be discouraged. There is a large community of fans who have built their own Jurassic Park-style Wranglers (and even Ford Explorers), and they are happy to offer tips and information for those considering the challenge.
One such community is the Jurassic Park Motorpool, which has a reference page and workshop group for fabrication tips. Its website also has links to where fans can purchase stencils and decals, as well as part numbers for the exact lights, winches, and other accessories that make the vehicle look authentic.
