Jeep Adds Lift-Up Kit with Bilstein Shocks for Wrangler, Gladiator

Jeep announced Wednesday that it has overhauled its 2.0-inch lift-up kit designed for the current Wrangler and Gladiator pickup trucks. The new lift-up kit replaces the Fox shocks in the previous kit with Bilstein units, specifically Bilstein 46mm monotube shocks with remote reservoirs.

The kit comes in specific versions for the Gladiator, Wrangler 2-door, Wrangler 4-door, and the various powertrains on each vehicle. This extends to diesel (discontinued with the 2024 Wrangler), 4xe plug-in hybrid, and V-8 powertrain options.

According to Jeep, the kit increases ground clearance, allows for larger wheels and tires, and improves control on a variety of surfaces through damper features such as self-adjusting deflecting disc valves that respond almost instantly to changes in road surface.

Also key is a remote reservoir designed to increase oil capacity and consequently improve heat dissipation. This allows for more consistent performance.

In addition to the shocks, the kit includes new springs, front lower control arms, front and rear sway bar links, front and rear bump stops, and all necessary fasteners. The kit is a bolt-on kit, so no drilling, cutting, or welding is required.

The lift kits are part of the Jeep Performance Parts range offered by Mopar. They can be installed on Wranglers dating back to the 2018 model year and Gladiators dating back to the 2020 model year.

Each kit is priced at $2,095.
