Cadillac Escalade IQ debuts August 9.

The electric 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ will debut in New York City on August 9.

Cadillac previewed the electric luxury SUV's complex front lighting features in a video released on June 20. In one image of the front end of the electric Escalade released by the brand, we can see vertical LED daytime running lights in the shape of light pipes and vertical LED headlights. These all seem to lead to horizontal LED turn signals along the edge of the hood. The nose incorporates a new design of LED lighting that differs from its siblings, although it is likely that a plastic panel will replace the grille as on the Lyriq electric crossover SUV.

The brick-like SUV is expected to feature a different design than the current gas-powered Escalade, with a more refined shape and slightly tapered roofline.

A teaser video released on Cadillac's YouTube channel offers a glimpse of the wheels of the Escalade IQ. The spy shots reveal an electric Escalade rolling on 24-inch wheels with a design reminiscent of those seen on the $300,0000 Celestic flagship. Celestic's wheels are 23 inches.

A video showing the interior of the Escalade IQ through the panoramic roof shows a huge LED display similar to the one seen on the Lyric. If the Escalade IQ adopts Celestic's infotainment system, the SUV will have a 55-inch screen that spans the dashboard.

The Escalade IQ may offer an upgraded version of GM's "Super Cruise" hands-free driver assistance system called Ultra Cruise, which GM claims will serve 95% of the country's roads and will debut on the Celestic later this year. Plans.

The Escalade IQ shares the Ultium platform and component set with the Chevrolet Silverado EV, GMC Sierra EV, and GMC Hummer EV. It has a battery size of up to 200 kwh and could have a range of over 400 miles.

Production of the Escalade IQ is expected to begin in Detroit in 2024.
