2023 Ford Super Duty Tremor, Rivian R2, Mercedes-Benz E-Class Wagon: today's automotive news
We took the 2023 Ford Super Duty Tremor for a test drive and found that we learned some new tricks from the Raptor. This off-road heavy-duty pickup also features a newly refined interior, new technology that makes life and off-roading easier, and an upgraded powertrain. Enthusiasts will note that this large pickup can now be equipped with 37-inch tires without modifications.
Rivian CFO Claire McDonough said the smaller R2 will debut early next year with a starting price of about $40,000; an SUV version of the R2, possibly named the R2S, was teased by CEO RJ Scaringe in May with black seats hidden The model was previewed in a clay model. Production is expected to begin in 2026.
The 2024 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Wagon made its online debut, but this long-roof model will not appear in the US. It is unclear if an all-terrain model, an elevated version of the wagon that has not yet been announced, will return to the U.S. market. It is currently the only way to purchase an E-Class wagon in the US.
