You can get the Nissan Skyline GT-R driven by Paul Walker in the movie "Wild Speed".
In recent years, prices for Nissan Skyline GT-Rs have skyrocketed, especially for the R34 generation, made famous by its multiple appearances in the "Wild Speed" series.
Currently, an R34 Skyline GT-R is for sale, the one driven by Paul Walker in the fourth film in the franchise, 2009's "Wild Speed." It will be offered at Bonhams Auctions, which will be held in Brussels, Belgium, from April 28 to May 5.
The car was originally a 2000 model brought to the U.S. for filming by its former company, Kaizo Industries, which circumvented import regulations by classifying it as a kit car and giving it its own VIN number. The engine shown here is not numbers matching, as it had to be imported without an engine due to this special import loophole.
According to the listing, the U.S. Border Patrol noticed the importation of this car after the shooting and seized it; it was finally released in 2012 and sold to a German customer, where it is now. However, it has never been registered for public road use in Europe and is for sale with Kaizo build plates and a previously expired Nevada title.
Several R34 Nissan Skylines were used for filming, but this car was the only GT-R. The others were minor changes of the GT and GT-T models, modified to resemble the hero car.
According to the listing, the person who chose this specification was Walker, an avid GT-R fan and owner of several GT-Rs. In addition to choosing the distinctive Bayside Blue exterior, Walker also chose a Turbonetics front-mounted intercooler, Nismo lowering springs, NE-1 exhaust, roll cage, ARC titanium strut tower bar, 19-inch Volk Racing RE 30 wheels, Rotora brake system with 6-piston front and 4-piston rear calipers, and Nismo Version II front bumper and side skirts were also reportedly requested.
The interior also received Walker's choice of modifications. These included an Alcantara-clad Momo steering wheel, OMP front seats with five-point harnesses, and a Windows PC linked to an MFD Xenarc display.
