SVE 800 hp Yenko/SC Silverado with lowered and off-road versions

If you missed Specialty Vehicle Engineering's (SVE) limited run of 2022 Yenko/SC Silverado pickups, the truck is back for the 2023 model year.

SVE, which licenses the Yenko trademark and uses it on tuned versions of various General Motors vehicles, including the Camaro and Tahoe/Suburban, has released a tuned Silverado based on the updated 2022 Silverado 1500. The truck will return in 2023 in the same Yenko SC/Silverado Off-Road and Yenko SC/Silverado Lowered versions as before.

Both versions will also be available with a choice of two supercharged V-8 engines: a 5.3-liter version with 700 hp and a 6.2-liter version with 800 hp. In addition to the supercharger, each engine features numerous upgrades, including a blue-printed aluminum block, computer-balanced rotating assembly, new cylinder heads, and a custom stainless steel exhaust system.

For the Jenco SC/Silverado Offroad, SVE upgraded the suspension with heavy-duty rear stabilizers and heavy-duty traction bars. An optional BDS 4.0-inch lift kit is available, and Fox performance shocks are added front and rear. Nitto off-road tires and 20-inch wheels are also included, and a bed-mounted sport bar with LEDs is optional.

The Yenko SC/Silverado Lowered is the opposite, offering an optional sport suspension that lowers the vehicle 2.0 inches front and 5.0 inches rear. It also features Fox Performance shocks. The factory ride height can be maintained, in which case a large-diameter rear sway bar and heavy-duty traction bar are included.

SVE requires a donor vehicle: for the Yenko/SC Silverado Off-Road, a crew cab or double cab LTZ, RST, ZR2, or LT Trail Boss Z71 model, standard length or short bed, 4-wheel drive, 10-speed SC/Silverado Lowered is based on the LT, LTZ, RST, or High Country, also crew cab or double cab, standard or short bed, but in this case with rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive or four-wheel drive.

Only 100 each of the SC/Silverado Offroad and SC/Silverado Loader trucks will be produced, split equally between the 700-hp and 800-hp versions. Prices start at $67,995 for the 700 hp version and $69,995 for the 800 hp version. Orders can be placed through GM dealers.
