The successor to the Lamborghini Aventador, the Toyota GR010 LMH: the top photo of the week.
Lamborghini this week released the first details of the successor to the Aventador, code-named LB744. It will be powered by a newly developed V12 engine, a new eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, and three electric motors, with maximum output reaching 1,000 hp.
Ferrari will return to top-level endurance racing this month with the new 499P LMH. The return race will be the Sebring 1000 Mile, the opening round of the 2023 FIA World Endurance Championship.
Facing Ferrari in the premier hypercar class will be Toyota's GR010 Hybrid LMH; the GR010 was first raced in 2021, but the version entering this season has been updated in several key areas.
Airstream recently partnered with Studio F.A. Porsche, a design studio founded by the original designer of the Porsche 911, to create a concept for a future travel trailer. The resulting design will be unveiled this week and features several firsts for Airstream.
A startup company called Lightship also unveiled a travel trailer this week. Called the L1, Lightship's design features a self-propelled system that consumes little energy from the vehicle it tows. [Porsche is working on a mid-cycle update to the 992-generation 911. And finally, Genesis is in the process of launching its first electric car.
