Ford is offering Bronco Raptor buyers an off-road experience.
Ford's Raptor vehicle line offers off-road performance that most buyers will never experience. Ford hopes to change that by offering Bronco Raptor buyers the opportunity to go off-road in a 418-horsepower SUV.
On Friday, the Blue Oval announced a special program exclusively for Bronco Raptor buyers, to be held at the Bronco Off-Roadeo Driving School in Mount Potosi, Nevada. The program consists of a one-day training course and is included with the purchase of a 2022 or 2023 Bronco Raptor.
Course participants must provide their own transportation to the school and may bring a guest for an additional fee.
Ford operates four Bronco Off-Roadeo driving schools in the country. Horseshoe Bay, Texas; Moab, Utah; and Guilford, New Hampshire. Each offers courses specific to Bronco and Bronco Sport.
The Nevada school also offers courses for Bronco and Bronco Sports, in addition to trails built for the conditions of Ultra 4 racing events such as the King of the Hammers, a popular annual race held at Means Dry Lake, California. Trail. In designing the trail, Ford enlisted talented off-road drivers such as Vaughn Gittin Jr, Lauren Healey, and Brad Lovell for input.
Bronco fans can purchase an SUV specially prepared by Fox Factory, which manufactures suspension components for the popular Fox Racing Shox. It is called the King of the Hammers Edition Ford Bronco and features modifications inspired by the 4600-class Bronco that competes in the King of the Hammers race. Ford itself has also developed a Bronco-based customer race vehicle with a V-8 engine.
