Maserati announced the redesigned GranTurismo last October, but at that time only revealed the exterior of the Modena, Trofeo, and electric Folgore.

Last week, Maserati finally revealed the interior of the new GranTurismo, which retains the 2+2 seating arrangement of its predecessor while going the high-tech route with the dashboard.

The modestly designed dashboard is fitted with three digital screens, including a 12.2-inch unit for the instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch unit for the Android-based infotainment system, and an 8.8-inch unit for climate control settings. The screens display different graphics depending on the variant. This photo shows the cabin in the sport-oriented Trofeo trim.

Including the digital clock, there is actually a fourth screen. Located above the center stack, this clock can switch between multiple displays, including a compass. It also displays a wave graphic designed to provide visual feedback for the car's voice activation.

Several physical controls are available for key functions, including gear selection. Maserati has also identified an available heads-up display, a Sonus Faber audio system (14 speakers standard, 19 speakers available), and several trim options.

In designing the new GranTurismo, Maserati has lowered the ride height by almost an inch and widened the overall width by nearly 0.8 inches over its predecessor, resulting in sportier proportions. The lower ride height also lowers the seating position, resulting in a sportier driving feel.

The new GranTurismo will go on sale in the spring, probably as a 2024 model. Pricing will be announced closer to launch, but Maserati has suggested starting near $200,000.

Only gas-powered models will be available at launch. The Folgore EV is confirmed to arrive later. Maserati has also confirmed that a convertible option for the GranTurismo will be revealed in 2023, but the timing of its market launch is unknown.

The only gas engine is a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6 that produces 490 hp in the more luxurious Modena and 550 hp in the sportier Trofeo. In addition to the 760 hp from the three-motor powertrain, the Folgore is powered by a 92.5 kwh battery and has a range approaching 300 miles.
