Porsche's modern 356, Toyota's new chief - Automotive News

It has been 75 years since Porsche registered its first sports car, the 356 known as the No. 1. In this anniversary year, Porsche imagined what the 356 would look like if it were replaced with its current design. The result is the beautiful Vision 357 concept.

There was a change of president at Toyota Motor Corporation. Akio Toyoda will step down as CEO, but will remain at Toyota Motor Corporation as the new chairman. The current president of Lexus will succeed Mr. Toyoda.

Yukon, Oklahoma-based Finale Speed unveiled a custom 1969 Chevrolet Camaro that took 3,000 hours to build. Much of that time was spent on the car's body, which was made entirely of prepreg autohardened carbon fiber that the company claims meets OEM quality standards.

Motor Authority has these and other articles in today's Automotive News.
