Alfa Romeo Giulia SWB Zagato, Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray: Top Photos of the Week
Legendary Italian coachbuilder Zagato has unveiled a one-off coupe based on the platform of the Alfa Romeo Giulia sedan. The coupe was developed to celebrate 100 years of Zagato's work on Alfa Romeo and features a body made almost entirely of carbon fiber.
Another legendary Italian design house in the headlines this week was Bertone. The company went bankrupt in 2014, but has been resurrected under new management and this week unveiled the first in a series of limited edition cars.
Chevrolet premiered its new COPO Camaro, which will be available in 2023. The drag special will come with three engine options, one of which is Chevrolet's new 10.4-liter V-8 crate engine, which produces 1,004 horsepower without a supercharger or turbo.
Another Chevrolet that made headlines this week is the 2024 Corvette E-Ray, spotted without camouflage equipment. This car will have a hybrid powertrain and will be the first electrified Vette.
Also spotted was a redesigned Mini Countryman, which will be unveiled next year as a 2024 model. This is believed to be one of three crossovers Mini is planning.
And finally, Buick revealed its first vehicle based on General Motors' Ultium EV platform. This vehicle is the Electra E5 compact crossover, which will be sold in China.
