Praga Bohema, 2022 GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate: top photos of the week
Czech racing car specialist Praga joined the ranks of hypercar manufacturers this week, producing 700 hp while weighing just 2,164 pounds.
Pininfarina released performance figures for its electric hypercar, the Battista, with a 0-60 mph time faster than those achieved by the Rimac Nevera and Tesla Model S Plaid. This makes Pininfarina the fastest production car in the world.
GMC's Sierra 1500 pickup will push luxury even further with the addition of a new Denali Ultimate grade for the 2022 model year. Buyers will get all of the Sierra's top-of-the-line features, plus significantly improved cabin trim options and added driver-assistance features for towing and highway driving.
Italian performance brand Abarth unveiled its first electric car in the form of a tuned version of the redesigned Fiat 500e. It is not yet known if the Abarth version will be available in the U.S., but the regular 500e has been confirmed to arrive in the U.S. in early 2024.
Porsche was once again spotted testing its planned electric 718 sports car. The latest prototype spotted was of a 718 Boxster convertible, but an electric 718 Cayman coupe is also supposedly planned.
And another vehicle being tested this week was an electric subcompact crossover that Mini plans to add to its lineup soon. Smaller than the Countryman, this crossover was teased in July with the Aceman concept and may carry the name into production.
