2023 Lexus LX 600 continues minor changes

The redesigned Lexus LX 600 for the 2022 model year was mostly carried over to the 2023 model year, with only minor changes reported for the new model year.

Heated steering wheel and rear-seat entertainment screen covers are now standard on all models.

The F Sport Handling model is also available with a new exterior color option, Nori Green Pearl. As before, this version features model-specific dampers, a Torsen limited slip differential, a uniquely tuned adaptive suspension system as standard equipment, and sportier styling, including 22-inch wheels and a mesh grille. The new model also features sportier styling, such as 22-inch wheels and a mesh grille.

The LX shares the GA-F platform with the latest Toyota Land Cruiser, which is not sold in the U.S., so you can bet on serious off-road capability. The LX is also equipped with a multi-terrain select off-road drive mode, driver aids for crawl control and hill descent control, and a multi-terrain monitor camera system to facilitate off-road driving.

The only powertrain option remains a twin-turbocharged 3.4-liter V-6 that produces 409 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque, connected to a 10-speed automatic transmission and a standard four-wheel drive system with low range.

A dual-screen setup with a 12.3-inch upper screen and a 7.0-inch lower screen also remains standard, and the LX features the same Lexus interface infotainment system as other recent models, with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wireless connectivity to smartphones is standard.

Also unchanged is the Lexus Safety System+ 2.5 bundled driver assistance, which includes typical features such as adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, and automatic emergency braking.

The 2023 Lexus LX is expected to arrive at dealerships by the end of 2022. Pricing starts at $90,505 including a $1,345 destination charge.
