Another SUV that made headlines this week was the Vengeance by Rezvani of California. The vehicle is based on the Cadillac Escalade platform, but can be equipped with enough armor to protect its occupants from bullets, explosives, and electromagnetic pulses.
BMW unveiled its redesigned M2 this week. It retains its high-performance inline six-cylinder, rear-wheel drive, and choice of manual or automatic transmission, but also has significantly more horsepower.

Lotus' electric hypercar Eviya is currently in production, and Lotus revealed a special edition this week dubbed the Eviya Fittipaldi. As the name suggests, the car pays homage to Emerson Fittipaldi, who won the 1972 F1 title as a Lotus driver.
Hypercar manufacturer Apollo plans to expand into the luxury EV segment, developing powertrains and other technologies for future EVs. That development is currently on the road in the form of a prototype sports car.
And finally, French performance manufacturer Alpine presented a dramatic hypercar concept called Alpenglow. The concept heralds design elements for future Alpine road cars and Alpine's LMDh racer.
