Aerodynamic upgrades will also include a vented hood, rear wing with swan-neck struts, and underbody elements. It will also feature lightweight wheels and a modest interior with sport bucket seats.
The A110 will be powered by a mid-mounted 1.8-liter turbo four, with the A110 S producing 296 hp and 250 lb-ft of torque; the A110 S has a top speed of 170 mph, while the A110 R has been confirmed at 177 mph, so it could benefit from an increase in power
The A110 lineup is currently Alpine's only offering, but the company has teased three models that would mark the beginning of an electrification phase, including an electric replacement for the A110, which is being developed in conjunction with Lotus.
The first of these future EVs will appear in 2024. However, at the 2022 Paris Motor Show on October 17, Alpine will present a concept that embodies its future product strategy and marks a new stage in its transformation into an EV company.
