2024 VW ID.Buzz, 2023 Toyota GR Corolla, Jeep EV: Top Photos of the Week
Volkswagen finally has a modern microbus. It will be available in the U.S. next year as a 2024 model, and we got to spend some time behind the wheel this week.
Another vehicle we tested was the 2023 Toyota GR Supra, which has a new manual option. This manual is a six-speed that ZF developed for cars with BMW's 382-horsepower turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine, but Toyota has modified it to turn the fun dial.
Another Toyota developed by the GR Performance division this week is the 2023 GR Corolla. This hot hatch is a new addition to the Toyota lineup, and important pricing details are now known.
We have also learned the price of the 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV, which will be available starting in late 2023. Chevrolet will soon have an attractive option for EV buyers on a budget.
Jeep revealed three of the four electric SUVs it plans to launch by 2025. The centerpiece is an electric vehicle that will replace the Wrangler. It is called the Recon and will pack all of Jeep's off-road know-how on parent company Stellantis' STLA large EV platform.
There is also the Jeep Wagoneer S concept, which heralds a mid-size SUV designed to bring Wagoneer-style luxury to the world.
Another Jeep electric SUV is a subcompact named Avenger, of which we have spy shots of a prototype. Sadly, the Avenger has not been confirmed for sale in the US.
And finally, we also spent some time behind the wheel of the redesigned 2023 Lexus RX. The popular family hauler's looks have matured, and it has more options when it comes to powertrains.
