2023 Spy shots and video of the Lamborghini Huracán Stellato: a supercar with high performance.
Lamborghini appears to be preparing a new version of the Huracan that can leave the pavement behind.
Our spy shots and video show a high-riding Huracan with driving lights, roof rack, and roof-mounted scoops. There is also a bull bar-like protective element on the front, designed to brush off any tall rocks that might be encountered while driving at high speeds.
Most of these additions are only makeshift units. Once in production, they are expected to be refined and integrated into the overall design.
Lamborghini has yet to confirm plans for a high-riding Huracan, but did preview such a model with the Sterrato concept in 2019. Like the tester shown here, the concept featured high ground clearance, underbody protection, a roof rack, and driving lights. Interestingly, the trademark for the name Stellato was filed by Lamborghini just last fall. In Italian, it means "dirt."
When might the Huracan Sterrato appear? Lamborghini plans to launch four models in 2022, but since the Aventador met its demise last year with the Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae, they will likely be based on the Huracan and Urus lines (the successor has already been seen test driving It is possible that the Uracan Stellato will be among the four new models.
More buyers are looking for a supercar that can be driven year-round and without fear of major damage from potholes. That's why Porsche is introducing a high-riding model of the 911, and we are confident that other manufacturers will be quick to capitalize on this trend, especially as supercar sales continue to grow in emerging markets where road conditions are not always good.
