There is one Saleen S7 LM with 1,300 hp for sale for $1 million.

A rare opportunity to own one of the seven Saleen S7 LM cars is coming soon.

The 1,300-horsepower supercar was unveiled in 2016 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Saleen's seven consecutive victories in various motorsports competitions, which began in 2006; the first of the seven cars was unveiled in 2017;

The first of the seven cars will be available to the public in 2017.

The third car in the line, a silver car with black and yellow accents, will go under the hammer and into your hands at auction house Bonhams' upcoming "Supercars on Sunset" sale. Expected bids range from $1 million to $1.3 million.

This particular car was built in 2018 and has only one owner, who has only 300 miles on it. However, the car is not perfect. There appears to be residue from the exhaust tips or possibly heat damage to the rear fascia.

Power for the S7 LM comes from a twin-turbo 7.0-liter V-8 from the original S7 twin-turbo model. Its output is comparable to the 1,000 hp that Saleen offered S7 customers in 2006 through its Competition Package. This output is on pump gas. If high-octane is used as the racing fuel, the output rises to 1,300 hp, comparable to a hypercar.

Saleen has also entered the tuning scene here in the United States. It recently announced plans to build a special version of the Hyundai Ford Bronco and a sports car dubbed the S1.

The company is also trying to enter the Chinese market, partnering with local Jiangsu Secco Automotive Technology Co. in 2019. The following year, however, things turned sour when Saleen founder Steve Saleen claimed intellectual property theft in a Wall Street Journal op-ed.

The auction for the S7 LM will be held on April 10 in Los Angeles, California. Other impressive cars to be offered include a Ferrari 458 Speciale, a McLaren Senna, a McLaren Senna GTR, a Hyundai Ford GT, and a Porsche 911 GT3 RS previously owned by Jerry Seinfeld.
